Conference Takes Stock Five Years After the 2021 Flood

Five years after the devastating flood of 2021, the academic conference “Five Years After the 2021 Flood – Changing Research Perspectives” will take place on 2–3 July 2026 at Koblenz University of Applied Sciences, Remagen Campus.
The conference focuses on evolving questions and approaches in disaster and risk research, as well as a critical reflection on existing findings. Its aim is to discuss new perspectives for dealing with extreme events and multiple societal crises.
Registration and submission of contributions are open until 31 January 2026.
