Mobildeich receives first VdS certification

Mobildeich GmbH, a member of the Flood Competence Centre (HKC), is the first company to receive certification in accordance with the new VdS guideline 3855. The mobile flood protection element ‘Mobildeich’ performed impressively in realistic tests conducted by VdS and the Institute of Hydraulic Engineering at the Technical University of Hamburg.
The water-filled double-chamber hose can be set up quickly without heavy equipment and provides flood protection of up to 2.60 metres. ‘With VdS certification, we are setting a pioneering standard,’ says Sebastian Brose from VdS.
